The 2011 Move
I guess it was time for us to move again. We got the news a few months back and was not looking forward to it. Our Bank that owned our Rental decided it was time for a change. We had to choose increase our rent or move. At that time Ken and I were going threw a hard time with money. We knew we could not buy or increase rent. I was so depressed and so was Ken. We only had a few weeks to find a home and we needed to be out by Dec. 1. I prayed and prayed I would find something in our price range and be able to move right away and stay close to Kens office and have friends for the children. I only found two homes one in Chandler and one in Gilbert that fit our needs. the rest were far away. I went to the Chandler home it was OK it fit our needs but I was not feeling this was the right home. I went to the Gilbert home. Could not believe it. It was like it was calling to me its your home. Not sure what to do I called Ken and he said try for both homes. Rentals our had to find right now with the housing market the way it is. I filled out the papers put the deposits on the homes, knowing I could loose the money. I was sad to find outs both home were under contacts. I was really worried still no home and we only had a few weeks. So I went looking again. Surprise I got a call about the Gilbert home. We were told we could have the home but no pets. I was sad for Emily she is a pet lover but as a family we knew we need a home to move into and our pets would find loving homes. We made the move very quickly.
Since it was so close to Dec and we use up all of our fund to get the home, we decided as a family Christmas would wait this year due to our money problems. Our children were so understanding. We choose not to say anything. So the last week in Nov. we took the children to YMs and YWs for there last time in the Ward and Ken and I went to tithing and to let the Bishop in on the News. It was a sad time to say goodbye to a great Bishop. He was so understanding and he took good care of us. He was so loving and understanding he wanted to make sure Christmas would happen for the children. Christmas came and went and it was one of the best Christmas we have had as a family. We were blessed. After New Years as a family we went to our new Ward and the rest of my prays were answered. There was so many youth in this Ward and it didn't take long for our kids to make friends.
Ken and I did not want to make this move but it was met to be. My prays were answered, and we have been so blessed. The children have been so much happier and we have grown closer as a family.

Harrison our youngest comes home from school and says whats for dinner mom. He does not say whats for snack he says whats for dinner. I tell him I don't know yet. He says then how about I treat Dad and you to dinner at McDonald's only if you will buy off the 1$ menu and then I can buy a ice cream cone. Then he says William and Emily can use there cards and get there own dinner. I had to laugh. I thought it was so cute that he wanted to share.

OK so Jan. 19 which was a Wednesday. I got really board and decided to go to Hobby Lobby. I can spend hours in this store. But only had 30min. left before I had to pick up my son. So I moved quickly. First I stopped at the Cricut row and bought some more stuff for that. Then I moved very fast to the fabric section walk around and around found this cool looking fabric and of course I love pink so I had to get it knowing full well that I had no place in my home for a fabric photo board that is pink. So thinking Emily would like it I bought it and all the stuff to make the board for her. I picked up William, headed home and begun my project which turned out cute. Was so excited to show it off to the family. They loved it! Emily said mom why don't you try to sell it and see if you can make some money, Ken said the same thing. So why not, I already have a account and all my other product sold quickly why not try it. So I listed it and now I'm just waiting to see if it will sell. Maybe this may turn out to be one of my new hobbies.

2010 was a long year of changes in our lives, some good and others bad!
Ken had to work hard to keep the company going during hard times. I started out working for the school but ended up having a accident at work and had no other choice but to leave the job. I tried a new job working close to Ken at the office, which worked out good for a short time until our children and a few things got in the way. Ken and I decided it would be best if I stayed home and take care of what needed to be done at home. Money was tight but family comes first. William our oldest is loving life. He is 15 getting ready to turn 16. He attends Primivera High and is almost done with his sophomore year. He has a new hobby, collecting swords and knives. He is looking forward to taking fencing class this year. He was able to take a two week trip with his Grandma and Grandpa Bowlby to study Church history and spent time in Missouri with them. This year he will turn 16 and will be able drive. I'm scared about it but can't wait. Emily is growing up so fast. She is in 7th grade and attends Bogle Jr. High. She ran cross country and did a great job and sang in choir. She is 12 getting ready to turn 13 and in young women's and loves its. Her favorite things to do are babysitting, talking on the phone, Internet, and her new thing is her itouch. Harrison our youngest is having lots of fun turning into a preteen. He is getting ready to turn 12 this year and will be in the young men's program at Church. He is really into long boarding and video games. He is looking forward to graduation from elementary school and be part of the Junior High world.
